I have been trying to find a surgeon to remove embedded black hard wax from my 92 year old mother's ears. 4th futile attempt of microsuction at local hospital (since August) has failed. Constant use of drops in her ears during this entire period meaning her being unable to use her hearing aids. These visits are so distressing and Mum now prefers to be in her room and is not socialising as she cannot hear. I have contacted Mr Paul Chatrath and his secretary and finally it looks as if we will be able to have this minor procedure done under General Anaesthetic which will "open up her world" for her, just in time for her to enjoy the festivities in the care home. The communication I have been receiving has been fantastically quick, professional (addressing all my concerns) and my emails not left "unaddressed". Thanks you so much for your kindness and understanding. Can't wait to get Mum "fixed" for Christmas

I cannot recommend Professor Chatrath enough. My 5 year old daughter recently had a Tonsillectomy at the Portland Hospital. Prof Chatrath is courteous and sensitive to parents feelings when it comes to planning surgery. I felt at ease and reassured when he explained everything clearly . Even my daughter felt at ease with him. His secretary, Maria was the ultimate support during the entire process. My husband and i felt incredibly nervous about the surgery and as a result we had numerous questions to ask ...every single question was answered in a timely fashion with full support and reassurance. Maria was incredible!! Thank you to you both for everything we are very lucky to have found such a great team.

I had reason to contact Mr Chatrath recently due to ear problems and possible eustacian tube disfunction. I found him to be extremely pleasant and sympathetic. I am grateful for his care and expertise.

Mr Chatrath was absolutely fantastic from the very first appointment. very caring and a good listener, a doctor that 100% put their patient first! He performed a surgery, where he removed a cyst from my vocal cords, which are healing nicely at the moment. At the hospital, I was treated like a princess by Mr Chatrath and all the team that worked with him on the day of the surgery. All Of the team was amazing! My questions were answered in the best way possible and my needs were met at all times! Thank you for a great experience!! :)

Mr. Chatrath has listened carefully to the history of my condition, and has given useful advice and support as well as progressing the investigation and treatment. I am very confident and comfortable in his care and in his approach.
